Pascol -Vocal Performance
Camden People's Theatre, NW1 2PY , [Venue Details]Pascol is a vocal performance shaped by the audience’s stories: five voices create an intimate musical reflection of shared emotions and memories.
Each performance is a spontaneous creation: a singular musical reflection shaped by the emotions and memories of those present.
This June, Pascol returns to Camden People’s Theatre for a full weekend of performances. On the 28th and 29th of June, audiences are invited to take part in a collective musical experience where their stories become a living sonic mirror – never repeated, always shaped by the moment.
Pascol is an experimental vocal project that invites the audience into a collaborative and immersive performance space. Six vocalists, led by project founder Sasha Gefen – a celebrated musician, composer, and music therapist – transform personal stories shared by the audience into improvised soundscapes.
Blending storytelling and real-time improvisation, the ensemble weaves ethereal harmonies and vocal textures to mirror the inner worlds of those in the room. Pascol offers an intimate experience that dissolves the boundary between performer and audience, inviting listeners to connect deeply with the sound – and with one another.
Performances will take place at Camden People’s Theatre, a dynamic venue that has championed innovative contemporary performance and supported the next generation of theatre-makers for over 30 years.
